Thrive Welcomes Sandi Scheinberg

  • News

We’re thrilled to introduce Sandi Scheinberg, the newest member of our board of directors. Sandi is a non-profit consultant who has more than 20 years of experience supporting organizations working in the areas of environment, health, education, arts, social service, housing, and disaster preparedness. She has worn many non-profit hats, serving as an executive director, board member, and grant maker—and brings this wide range of perspectives to Thrive. Raised in a small town on the Oregon Coast, Sandi was young when she developed a love for wild places and a passion for protecting them. She currently lives in Hood River, where she strives to imbue in her two daughters an appreciation for the special places she has come to cherish in and around the Hood River Valley. Sandi first began working along side Thrive as a member of the Cooper Spur Wild and Free Committee in the early 2000s.
