Litter Patrol

Volunteer Opportunity: Litter Patrol on Highway 35

It's time for Thrive Hood River's Spring Adopt-a-Highway cleanup! It's been a busy winter, and we need to pick up trash along Highway 35. Interested in joining the litter patrol? We need help on Sunday April 14th at 8:00am! Please RSVP HERE if you are able to come. This cleanup will be along Highway 35 between the China Gorge Park & Ride lot and Whiskey Creek Road. For the past 11 years, Thrive has maintained 3 ODOT Adopt-a-Highway stretches along Hwy 35 and the Dee Highway. We do litter patrols twice a year in the milder spring and fall seasons and we would love your help! It's a great time to get to know other Thrivers and positively affect the livability of Hood River-plus you get to wear a fluorescent vest. Thanks for volunteering to keep Hood River thriving and beautiful!
