Informational Kiosk Project for Punchbowl Falls County Park May 1, 2019 News, Uncategorized Thrive took a lead role in helping Hood River County acquire the magnificent 102-acre Punchbowl Falls County Park. Now we want to help the county take the next steps in making it the park envisioned by the public by creating interpretive signs that explain the history, geology, flora and fauna of this wondrous place. The informational kiosk will include maps of the park’s new trail system that has been built by our friends at Trailkeepers of Oregon. The county doesn’t have money to pay for this, so Thrive is spearheading a fundraising effort to raise $3,500 to build and install an informational kiosk in June 2019. The sign will look similar to the drawing at right and be constructed of cedar in the style of the existing park sign. Contact Heather by email or phone (541) 490-5225 for more information. We are also looking for volunteers to help install the kiosk. Click here to donate by paypal: Share This Twitter Facebook LinkedIn Email
